-School begins at 7:45 am. Students will be able to enter the building at 7 o’clock. -Students are to wear their uniforms daily. Please refer to the student handbook for further details. -Dismissal begins at 2:10. Early check out ends at 1:45pm. |
Behavior Management Plan
In my classroom I will use a color coded behavior management plan and also the point system associated with class dojo. BLUE- STUDENT HAD AN EXCEPTIONAL DAY. WAS A GREAT HELPER. FOLLOWED ALL CLASSROOM RULES. (Students may receive a special treat from the treasure box and two points on class dojo.) GREEN- STUDENT HAD A GOOD DAY. WAS ABLE TO FOLLOW MOST OF THE CLASSROOM RULES. (Students will receive verbal compliments about their conduct and one point on class dojo.) YELLOW- STUDENT HAD AN OK DAY. HAD SOME REDIRECTION TO HELP THEM STAY ON TASK THROUGHOUT THE DAY. (Students will be reminded of the rules and the expectations in the classroom and minus one point on class dojo.) RED- STUDENT HAD A DIFFICULT DAY FOLLOWING THE CLASSROOM RULES AND PROCEEDURES. PARENTS WERE NOTIFIED OF THE STUDENTS BEHAVIOR. (Teacher will discuss with the student and parents solutions on how to improve classroom behaviors and minus two points on class dojo.) Throughout the day the students will have the opportunity to change their colors based on their behavior. The students will be made aware of the consequences for not following the classroom rules. |
